Scott Goetsch is a 1982 graduate of the Duke University School of Law. He received his under-
graduate degree from Duke in 1979, and was a four-year varsity basketball letterman and NCAA
finalist at Duke.

Mr. Goetsch is an active trial attorney, representing commercial insurers and self-insured entities
in claims litigation and commercial disputes in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has been
in private practice 24 years, and has successfully defended physicians, architects and engineers, manufacturers, airlines, and other individuals and corporations throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as in the states of Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey and Florida.

Scott is married and has two children.
