Mr. Swiss received his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, graduating in 1974. He received his undergraduate degree in English from Kenyon College in 1970, graduating cum laude.

Tom is an experienced trial attorney with direct and extensive involvement in a wide variety of civil litigation in state and federal courts. He specializes in personal injury claims, toxic torts, professional liability claims, and in contract and commercial litigation. He has represented more than a dozen defendants in asbestos personal injury litigation in Maryland and Virginia over the past 15 years. He also has represented numerous small businesses and their principals in corporate and personal matters.

Tom is married and has three children.
