Ms. Ward received her law degree in 1987 from the Georgetown University Law Center, and
previously received her undergraduate degree from Loyola College in Baltimore, graduating
magna cum laude.

Peggy is an experienced trial attorney admitted in both Maryland and the District of Columbia.
She has extensive experience in complex insurance coverage litigation, as well as mass torts, industrial products, and premises liability. She has published and lectured extensively on insurance related topics.

Peggy has been very active in professional and community organizations, serving as the President
of Maryland Defense Counsel (2003-04), and as a Dean and member of the Executive Committee
of the Lawyers Campaign for College Bound (1997-present). Recently, Peggy was selected by
The Daily Record as one of Maryland's Top 100 Women for 2005.

Peggy is married, the mother of three children, and a dedicated long-distance runner.
